How to Join the Minecraft Beta on Android

Joining the beta is an official process managed through the Google Play Store. You don't need to download a separate APK from a third-party site to participate.

Worlds opened in a beta version cannot be opened in an older, stable version. Before you join the beta, back up your existing worlds to prevent losing them. It's best to create new worlds specifically for beta testing.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Own the Game: You must own the official version of Minecraft from the Google Play Store. The beta is only available to players who have purchased the game.
  2. Visit the Play Store Page: Open the Google Play Store and search for the official Minecraft app page.
  3. Scroll Down to "Join the beta": On the app's main page, scroll down until you see a section titled "Join the beta."
